NO LONGER AVAILABLE. In 2011 there was a limited number of special 75th Anniversary Certificates that any Fellow could order to replace or complement their existing PFA Certificate. Orders are now closed as of November 15, 2011 Special Fellow cost was $25 per certificate.

Annual Dues & Dental World /Dental Abstracts:

Membership dues are established by the Board of Trustees. Dues include subscription to Dental World and to Dental Abstracts for all members throughout the world. Dues support the Awards Luncheon, student Awards of Merit, the Fauchard Gold Medal and the Elmer S. Best Award, the general administration and activities of the Academy and certain section functions.

Fellowship Requirements:

Candidates for active fellowship shall be ethical dentists and shall have made outstanding contributions to the art and science of dentistry or to society. Candidates in the United States or its territories shall be members in good standing of the American Dental Association. Those in other countries shall be members in good standing in the equivalent association of the country in which the candidate is associated with dentistry. Fellowship is by invitation only and candidates must have graduated from accredited schools at least five years prior to nomination.

To begin the process of nominating an outstanding dentist for fellowship- current PFA members may download Fellowship Nomination Forms to fill out on their computer or request printed copies of them from the PFA Central Office.
