Outgoing Officer Certificate Awards
The Pierre Fauchard Academy awards the Fauchard Gold Medal annually to a person who has made outstanding contributions to the progress and standing of the dental profession. This award is given to a USA candidate only.
The Elmer S. Best Memorial Award is awarded annually to a member of the dental profession from outside the United States who has made distinguished contributions of international significance to dentistry. This award is given to a non-USA candidate only.
The Dental Trade and Industry Award of Recognition may be presented to honor an outstanding leader in the field for contributions to dentistry. Award given by the Academy once a year anywhere in the world.
The Presidential Award of Excellence is an award to be selected and presented by the current sitting President at a time and place of the president's choosing. This certificate award may be given to more than one candidate anywhere in the world.

A certificate award given each year to all outgoing Officers. Outgoing Presidents also receive a Past Presidents Pin and are listed on the Past Presidents page.
