Chairman Roy Cooper received the Foundation Scholarship Award, but because of the politics between the national dental school and the new private dental school (whose Dean is our past Section Chairman), he proceeded cautiously. Finally, the national dental school submitted three names of students to receive the award. With the offer of the Award again this year, they held another presentation ceremony last November.
