Dr. Ernesto Acuña

The Pierre Fauchard Academy aims to promote and raise standards and practices of the art and science of the dental profession worldwide. One way it does that is through the publication of the Dental Abstracts journal, which gathers the best in dental literature, informs dental professionals on the latest techniques, and shares ideas for improving our profession.

Being part of this honorable international organization not only means that we are distinguished by the merits we have achieved within the Society or the roles we have held within the Academy leadership but also by how our actions strengthen the growth of the PFA throughout the world.

We must maintain the ideals of our predecessors and pass them on to future generations of young colleagues. It is our moral obligation to nurture them with these ideals. As an international institution that embraces globalization, we must seek a closer relationship between the regions and sections that are part of the Academy by providing scientific and social activities and opportunities for participation by younger colleagues.
