The Pierre Fauchard Academy Canadian Region held its 2013 Awards & Installation Gala Dinner in Toronto Ontario, Canada at the Royal York Hotel on May 2^nd 2013. Dr. Aldo Boccia (PFA Ontario Section Chair) was Master of Ceremonies for the evening. Welcome and Opening remarks were presented by Dr Tom Breneman, PFA Trustee for Region 6, and the invocation was given by Dr Arthur Worth, President of the Ontario Dental Association.

 

Following Greetings from Dr. Peter Doig (President of the Canadian Dental Association), Dr. Ernesto Acuña (President of the PFA), Dr. Barry Dolman (Chair, PFA Canada), and Dr. Kevin Roach (President of the PFA Foundation), the Distinguished Service Awards were presented to Dr. David Mock and Dr. Elizabeth MacSween and an honorary Fellowship was presented to Mr. Cy Elborne, President of Henry Schein Canada. With the support of the PFA Foundation, PFA scholarships were presented to 10 student clinicians representing the Canadian Faculties of dentistry. We then welcomed 18 dentists as new fellows of the PFA.

Honorary Fellowship Awarded to Mr. Cy Elbourne
