The first-ever ACD-ICD-PFA C.E. Conference will be held April 8-9, 2016 at the beautiful Williamsburg Lodge. Join us for this unique event! This is the first time the three major honorary dental organizations will participate in a joint annual meeting. The Lodge is conveniently located across the street from historic Williamsburg.
The conference begins with a reception Thursday evening (cash bar). The programs on Friday and Saturday mornings provide seven hours of C.E. credit. Golfers can enjoy golf on Friday and Saturday afternoon on outstanding courses. A number of activities will also be available for non-golfers. Williamsburg has some excellent restaurants to try, many with a colonial flavor. A reception and dinner with entertainment are planned for Saturday evening (cash bar).
Continuing Education Program:
Ethical Dilemmas in Action: A Video Tour with Analyses presented by David W. CHambers, MEd, MBA, PhD and Lawrence P. Garetto, PhD will be presented on Friday, April 8th from 8:00-11:30 a.m. for 3.5 hours C.E. credit
This interactive course will utilize videos of professionally acted ethical dilemmas recently developed by ACD and Indiana University. Discussion will explore the analysis of the dilemmas, including basic concepts and reasoning with general applicability to other situations. The dilemmas were developed by Dr. Chambers for dentists and data have been collected allowing perspectives from both dentists and patients.
Come In and Catch It: The Review that Sticks presented by John A. Svirsky, DDS, MEd will be presented on Saturday, April 9th from 8:00-11:30 a.m. for 3.5 hours C.E. credit
This interactive, informative, and entertaining soft tissue review course covers the recognition, diagnosis, and treatment of the 25 soft tissue lesions that every dentist and hygienist should know and treat appropriately. A number of the entities only require recognition. The classic lesions that have been forgotten since school will be brought back to life, and your diagnostic confidence will be re-energized. Some interesting cases may pop up throughout the course.
