Learn about honors that Pierre Fauchard Academy awards to fellows on special occasions
Distinguished Service Citation
The Distinguished Service Citation Certificate Award may be presented to any USA Fellow of the Academy in appreciation for loyal and dedicated service to the Academy.
Certificate of Merit
The Pierre Fauchard Academy Certificate of Merit may be presented by any international section to more than one candidate each year in recognition of a worthy effort on behalf the profession or the Academy. International sections only.
Honorary Fellowship
A candidate for an Honorary Fellowship in this Academy will be an individual who has made a valuable contribution to the advancement of the Art and Science of Dentistry or to the Academy. May be given to more than one individual each year anywhere in the world. Non-dentists are also eligible.
Awards Luncheon
An annual luncheon is held at a time and location to coincide with the Annual Session of the American Dental Association. The Gold Medal Award and other special awards are presented at this luncheon.
Past Trustees Certificate Award
This certificate is presented to an outgoing Trustee for six years of service on the Board.

Bronze Award (past award)
This past Award has been replaced by the new Special Appreciation Award. The Board of Trustees of the Academy has honored members on occasion for "loyal and dedicated service" to the Academy with the Pierre Fauchard Academy Bronze Service Citation in the form of a bronze plaque (discontinued).
