Graduated from Rice University in 1978 with a BA. Graduated from West Virginia University School in Dentistry in 1982, followed by a GPR in 1983. U.S. Naval dental officer from 1983 to 1992. Periodontal Residency Bethesda Naval Hospital 1988-1990. Private Periodontal practice in Bellevue WA from 1992 until present. Participated in over 25 volunteer dental missions (presently president of the board with Great Shape! inc.). Member of PFA, American College of Dentists and International College of Dentists. Participant is local, county and state dental societies including state delegate, Pacific Northwest Dental Conference and foundation board. Part-time faculty at University of Washington School of Dentistry. Married with two adult children.
